Update the wallet app

New versions carry the latest security fixes, so update as soon as one ships.

Update manually from the App Store when a new version ships.

Open the App Store

Select App Store in the dock. When a new Bark Wallet version is available, an Updates button appears at the top right.

Update Bark Wallet

Select Updates, then Update next to Bark Wallet.

Pull the latest code, then start the stack with the same command.

Uninstall the wallet app

umbrelOS permanently deletes an uninstalled app’s data, wallet included. Empty the wallet, or make sure you’ve backed it up, before uninstalling.

Uninstall from the home screen

Right-click the Bark Wallet icon on your umbrelOS home screen and select Uninstall.

Confirm the deletion

umbrelOS warns that all app data will be permanently deleted. Select Uninstall to confirm.

To stop the wallet app without deleting anything, run the stop command from the repository directory.

Your wallet stays in place for the next start. Each network keeps it in its own Docker volume, bark-signet_wallet-data or bark-mainnet_wallet-data, so signet and mainnet can run side by side.To delete a wallet, reset it. A reset deletes the network’s volume and its wallet, and the next start creates a fresh one. The commands are the stop commands with -v added.

A reset permanently deletes that network’s wallet, seed phrase included. Empty the wallet, or make sure you’ve backed it up, before resetting.
